Our Mission Statement
Our values are based on trust, openness, honesty and transparency
Our aim is to put you the patient at the heart of everything we do, applying the highest standards of clinical knowledge to our practice. We want to reach every member of our practice population, delivering services that are tailored to the individuals needs. Our emphasis is on quality and safety and we share and learn together as a team, respecting and supporting one another in achieving our objectives.
Partners in Care
Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that the patient needs and what the practice are offering, are always heading in the same direction.
All entrances to our practices have activated doors, enabling easy wheelchair access over level ground.
There are occasions when patients need to be assessed by a Doctor/Nurse which might involve intimate examinations.
Our practice is committed to putting patients at ease whenever possible and if you wish for a chaperone to be present during your examination, please do not hesitate to ask.
Occasionally the practice will close in the afternoon from 12.00 for staff training and updates - the following dates have been allocated for this to take place:
Tuesday 10 September, 2019
Tuesday 8 October, 2019
Tuesday 12 November, 2019
Dementia and The Beechdale Medical Group
The Beechdale Medical Group has signed up to become dementia-friendly. We will be working with Alzheimer’s Society during the coming year and our staff will be participating in General Practice specific dementia awareness sessions. We will also be carrying out an assessment of how dementia-friendly we are and take steps to improve areas that need attention.
Included here are some useful contacts and links for support or advice if you are living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia. We welcome any feedback about how we are doing from patients, families and carers.
